Merry Christmas!

Wednesday Fun Day!

What a fun Wednesday! Jack, our class elf was up to no good! He scribbled on all of the kids faces! We also got to go a play about the polar express by the staff! We danced and had so much fun! Lastly we got to do a book exchange, and we all made out like bandits! I reminded each student to remember how it felt to GIVE and make people smile. We also had a yummy pasta lunch prepared by Mrs. Ramirez & Ms. Bladon, and talked about Christmas in Italy! ( Check out the video at the ened of this post!) Also, I want to say again…Thank you so much for all of the amazing gifts and cards, I truly feel so blessed. I am so thankful for each little firstie in my room. Thank you all!                                      

 

Almost Christmas Break, OH MY!

Well we are officially in CHRISTMAS BREAK MODE! Me, oh, my! The kids are sugar-cookied up, and being quirky and funny all day long. We had a sugar-cookie decorating contest, and had specifc rules to accompany the challenge. We also learned about Puerto Rico, and how Puerto Ricans celebrate the Holidays...ask your child what a "parranda" is, and what "Noche Buena" is. It was one of our students birthdays, so we also had sugary-yummy cupcakes to top the day off. Also- you will see that with my classroom money, I purchased a stylus for each student...so that they can practice their handwriting, and write much easier on the iPod- they LOVED them! Tomorrow, don't forget to send in a wrapped book. Thank you for ALL you do!
