Welcome to My Blog!

Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it is my opinion & reflections.

Oil Drip Pan & Science Observations

Who knew you could go to the automotive section of Wal-mart, buy an OIL-DRIP PAN, stick some velcro on the back and make it educational!?
They are using magnet letters to build their high frequency words.
Awesome!

Also, we went outside at the end of the day to observe the biggest star in the sky (the sun!) We used adjectives like bright, humungous, shining, etc. to describe the star.

  1. The kids must of loved learning about something in a different setting like being outdoors instead of the classroom! Great idea!
