Art for a Cause

As most of you know we raised money by doing art work. We exceeded our goal and were able to adopt 7 children total! It was a great experience and so inspiring to be able to provide clothes and other needed supplies for not just one student, but 7!

Shock & Awe

As you probably know, we have been working hard to raise money for a student we adopted for the holidays. We were blown away with kindness, generosity, and overall support. When I announced to the class that we raised an incredible amount of money, way more than we expected to raise- this was the look on their faces. Emotions. Excitement. Kindness at its finest. I truly believe the lessons they have been learning will be paid forward in their lives and the lives of others.

Reading with Purpose

Students worked to identify a purpose, then they used their iPads to read an article highlighting the 'purposeful' parts. Love seeing this hard work taking place after a long break! Go fifthsters!
