Welcome to My Blog!

Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it is my opinion & reflections.

Classroom Newsletter Week of 11/4

Mrs. Ramirez’s Newsletter
Week of 11/4

What We Worked On This Week:
 Math:
-We have been still working on Chapter 5- adding/subtracting with fact families
Reading:
-We worked on the /or/ sound all week in words like: more, for, sort, etc.
-We also learned how to infer
Writing:
-We have been working on publishing a piece of writing
-We have also began writing letters during our Daily 5 "Work on Writing" so if you see your child come home with a letter, someone wrote that to them in class...(it's ALL them, not me!)
-I am a believer in getting kids to write, any way we can!
Reminders:
- PLEASE don’t forget about our field trip on MONDAY 11/7 (this Monday!)
- Please have kids here at 7:45 AM- to go to Chili’s
- No need to pack a lunch J

We will be having a Thanksgiving feast on Thursday 11/17- I will be sending home a sign-up sheet for food donations. Thank you so much, for all that you do!-Mrs. Ramirez
