Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. 5k, Chapter Book Studies & Super-hero Art


This week so far, we have recapped our weekend events! This weekend a few of our lovely students participated in a 5k for the benefit of the county schools! The students did phenomenal, and the entire event was a true success!



 We are reading The Inventions of Hugo Cabret and obsessed with the amazing wording provided by the author!
 One group is reading a chapter book, and loving the mysterious way the author depicts the story!

 We wrote an entire essay on if we were a super-hero, and why our powers would be the most beneficial. After our essay, we used our creative sides to create illustrations.
