Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it is my opinion & reflections.

Career Day

Boy oh boy! We are so fortunate to have had so many businesses participate in our 1st Grade Career Expo! It was educational, entertaning, and very informative for the first graders, (and teachers!) We had representatives from over 16 places, including the fire department, sheriff's department, game and fish, forestry, Mike Scott Plumbing, a real race car & driver, and the list goes on....and on...and on. We ended with a yummy hotdog lunch for all of the 1st graders, and then some much needed recess!     Love seeing all these wonderful career folks who came out to see the Firsties! What a wonderful community we have. Looks like they all had a super fantastic day!
