Welcome to My Blog!

Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it is my opinion & reflections.

Oh, Friday- Friday!

As we close down this week, I just want to tell you (again) how much I adore your children. They make my HEART smile. We learend so much this week, and I am seeing such growth in them, it's unbelievable.

Reminders: Please don't forget to drop your child off at our school at 8:00 AM on Monday morning, 11/5- as our buses are leaving at 8:30 AM sharp.

After our testing was done today, we learned about "diversity," and how everyone's differences are intruguing, and interesting. The theme in the class was "different is great." We learned about India- their customs, foods, traditions, and music. I just love educating their little minds with culturally diverse things, it's fills me with joy to watch them get excited. To finish off their learning we all had the opportunity to try Naan bread- a custom bread from India.

To begin our celebration of diversity, we started a project of diversity, celebrating differences throug a pastel-art craft. The tracing of the hands, and coloring carefully is just the very 1st step to this craft.

Have a fabulous weekend, enjoy this beautiful weather.
