Welcome to My Blog!

Being a teacher is full of ups, downs, and in betweens. I love the look on a students face when they learn how to read. I love when students can solve problems on their own. I absolutely love when students feel proud of their work, and want to share it with the class. This blog is going to be full of moments in the classroom, pictures, and sometimes videos. Take everything with a grain of salt, as it is my opinion & reflections.

I Wonder...

Throughout the day, the students have many questions and "whys?" There is just not enough time in the day to answer all of their questions, so I told them that they are to choose an I WONDER post-it, during non-teaching time, write their question, and stick it on the side of my computer. On Friday afternoons, towards the end of the day, my friend, GOOGLE & I help answer some of the questions.

Check out how many we have to look up today!

  1. Bella told me about this and I think it is great! Sometimes kids can be like us and may be embarrassed to ask something. Writing it down lessens that fear and they get to learn something new.
